Christmas and new year club notes

Happy new year to all from St Nicks GAA!

2018 was a roller coaster ride for the club on and off the field!. The men’s team played in the league and championship final and were edged out in both games. Despite this, it was a very enjoyable year as the men’s team played a total of 13 and winning 11 of them in league, championship and challenge games. we have continued to recruit new players and we have had our best ever year for training numbers!

2018 will be remembered as the year St Nicks developed the first ever underage Gaelic football teams for girls and boys in Bristol. Over 40 children took part in training sessions this year and the U12s took part in the club’s first ever competition!!

Club members fitted the brand new goals on our home Pitch in St Marys and we look forward to further development in 2019.

We would also like to thank our very generous sponsors Elite financial, Miskella construction, Foresters arms and the Coach and Horses!

Congratulations to club member Nigel Farrelly and Victoria who tied the knot over the Christmas. St Nicks were well represented on the great day in Bath!
